Sofia University Welcomes New Erasmus+ Students for the Winter Semester 2025/2026
On 2 October, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” warmly welcomed its new group of Erasmus+ and exchange students for the winter semester 2025/2026.
The Welcome Meeting, organized by the Incoming Mobility Team of the International Relations Office, introduced students to essential information about their mobility period, the academic process, and the administrative procedures at the university.
During the event, students also received an introduction to the Transform4Europe European University Alliance, of which Sofia University is a proud member. The presentation highlighted the opportunities the alliance offers for joint educational activities, mobility, and cultural exchange within a dynamic European network of partner universities.
Representatives of ESN Sofia University also took part in the meeting, sharing how the organization supports Erasmus students in adapting smoothly to life in Sofia – both academically and culturally – through social, cultural, and volunteering initiatives.
Following the central Welcome Meeting, students joined information sessions across all faculties, where they received detailed guidance about their courses, schedules, and university resources.
This semester, Sofia University is proud to welcome more than 150 Erasmus+ and exchange students representing 29 nationalities and 5 continents:, enriching the university’s international community and cultural diversity.
